🏀 Fjr 1300 Vs Gtr 1400
The FJR is $6500 and the Kawi is $8500. The FJR has been tipped over in a driveway (really not too bad). The Concours is Pretty much perfect (needs a wax job to be flawless). I fit great on both bikes and I'm sure they will both have enough scoot for me :eek1.
The c-14 is better than the older version. The Honda is a bit outta date but still a great machine. Pick the one you like the most can’t go wrong either way. By the way I too did not care for ergonomics of the FJ. Bought a BMW R1200RTW instead. I like the fit better than C-14, but that’s me.

The C14 has a little more on top end, but the FJR has better low and midrange, and still plenty of power to redline. Wind protection is a wash, both are good. The bigger gas tank capacity of the FJR is a plus as is the cruise control. I considered both when deciding to get another sport tourer, but chose the FJR. #5.
Jul 27, 2020. #10. FJR - 26, 000 mile valve adjustments vs. Concours - 17,000 mile adjustments for variable valve timing (VVT). The name alone just sounds difficult. I have heard, but don't know for a fact, that the pillion is much more comfortable on the FJR but that may not even matter to Jdcowboy.

Of the 2 I'd choose the GSX1400 but 4 years after my posts in the earlier thread I still think the Bandit 1250 is a better bike than either (and yes I've ridden all 3).
